The Right Honourable Mr Winston Peters, New Zealand's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
All other dignatories and invited guests.
On behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Port Vila I am very pleased to see this project, which commenced in January, completed on time for today's official opening ceremony. We are all very thankful to the New Zealand Government and others for their support on the the Mama's Haus project and the seafront beautification which is still ongoing.
The Mama's now have their permanent haus for selling their handicrafts and the inspiration for this idea coming from Werner Pechan, a longtime Kiwanis member, who deserves everyone's gratitude for the major effort he has daily put into this project.
On behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Port Vila, we will all the mamas every success for their future here with their stalls in this beautiful setting."
